Webflow pricing can get quite confusing, especially for first time users. That’s because they’re divided into so many categories, each tailored for a different purpose.

However, once you break it down and understand it with your requirements and budget in mind, it gets a lot simpler.

Webflow also keeps making changes to the pricing structure—another reason why people get confused.

So, let’s cut through the confusion and find the perfect plan to boost your efficiency and impress clients. We’ll keep updating this blog to keep you abreast with the latest information.

Understanding Webflow Pricing Plans

Webflow offers a range of pricing options to fit different project needs and team sizes. Let's break down the main categories to help you understand what's available.

Three categories of pricing plans that Webflow offers:

CATEGORY #1–Free plan: This is Webflow’s starter plan, best for beginners wanting to explore the platform. You can build basic sites and familiarize yourself with the platform, although this plan has limited features and publishing options.

CATEGORY #2–Site plans: These plans are for when you’re ready to publish your Webflow site on a host. There are two subcategories here:

  • General Site plans: For regular websites, blogs, content-heavy sites, etc
  • E-commerce plans: For online stores specifically; offers features that facilitate product selling.

CATEGORY #3–Workspace plans: These are designed for professionals (teams/agencies) who want to collaborate and design websites, billed on a per-seat basis.

Note: Apart from the features each plan offers, consider billing options too as it will affect how much you pay for your desired plan.

Most Webflow pricing plans are billed both monthly and annually. The annual billings are usually around 20-25% cheaper than monthly payments –. E.g., the CMS plan costs $29 per month when billed monthly and $23 per month when billed annually.

Webflow’s Site Plans

Webflow's site plans are designed for hosting and publishing websites. These plans serve everything from simple personal sites to complex high-traffic business websites.

They are divided into two categories i.e. general and ecommerce site plans. These are further subdivided into different categories which we will discuss below.

  1. General site plan

Webflow’s general site plan is divided into five categories:

  • Starter
  • Basic
  • CMS
  • Business
  • Enterprise

Each of these plans have a few common features:

  • Two-factor authentication
  • Basic DoS protection
  • Interactions
  • Standard uptime and a global CDN (the enterprise site has a custom CDN)
  • Localization preview
  • Publish sites to webflow.io

Let’s break down the plan one by one.

  1. Starter Plan

Webflow’s free starter plan is perfect if you’re new to the platform. In this plan you can manage 100 user accounts, 2 logic flows with 100 flow executions per month, 60 RPM API requests, and 1 GB bandwidth.

Here’s what you get and where you might run into walls:

Key features

  1. Webflow.io domain: You can host your sites on webflow.io subdomain (e.g., yoursite.webflow.io). This may affect your branding and SEO because you won’t have a custom domain.
  2. 2-page limit: Refers to static pages and CMS items like blog posts do not count against this limit.
  3. 20 CMS collections: A collection of blog posts or office projects with a single-page template equals one CMS collection.
  4. 50 CMS items: CMS items may include blog posts, portfolio projects, etc., and any content managed through Webflow’s CMS.
  5. 50 form submissions (lifetime): Forms are crucial for lead generation; once you reach 50 submissions, no more will be collected hampering your ability to collect leads.
  6. Free Localization preview: You can test how Webflow allows local languages but not publish them
  7. 1 GB bandwidth and 1k visitors limit: If your goal is to generate website traffic, 1k doesn’t suffice well for it.

Best use cases

  • Hobby and staging sites: If you're working on personal projects or testing ideas, the free plan is for you. For example, you could create a simple blog or a small personal website.
  • Individual designers: It's an excellent option for building a portfolio website to showcase your work.
  • Learning Webflow: You have full access to Webflow University even on Free plan— where you can learn the platform comprehensively. Follow along with tutorials and practice building sites.

2. Basic plan

Pricing: $14 per month (billed annually) or $18 per month (billed monthly)

The first of the paid site plan, Webflow basic site plan offers the right balance of features for simple, static sites.
